Canvex ("the Service") is a web-based tool that generates business canvases (Business Model Canvas, Value Proposition Canvas, Lean Canvas, SWOT Analysis, Brand Canvas, and Supply Chain Canvas) using artificial intelligence. The Service is provided by canvex.org.
2. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)
The Service requires you to provide your own API key from a supported AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google). By using the Service, you acknowledge that:
- You are responsible for your own API key and any charges incurred from your AI provider.
- Canvex does not store, log, or retain your API key beyond a single generation request.
- You must comply with the terms of service of your chosen AI provider.
- API usage and billing are between you and your AI provider — Canvex has no involvement.
3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
All canvas content generated by the Service is produced by third-party AI models and is intended for ideation and brainstorming purposes only. It does not constitute professional business, financial, legal, or strategic advice.
You should review, validate, and refine all AI-generated content before using it in business decisions, presentations, or official documents. Canvex makes no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the generated content.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Attempt to overload, disrupt, or abuse the Service infrastructure.
- Use stolen, unauthorized, or fraudulent API keys.
- Share publicly generated canvases that contain harmful, misleading, or inappropriate content.
5. Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of the business ideas you input and the canvas content you generate. Canvex does not claim any intellectual property rights over your canvases. The Canvex brand, logo, and platform design are the intellectual property of canvex.org.
6. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described therein.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Canvex shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: data loss, API key exposure due to your own actions, business decisions based on AI-generated content, or charges from AI providers.
8. Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control.
